Mice can enter your home in a variety of ways. So you want to seal up every opening they can find.

The common house mouse  weighs about an ounce, has a two-inch-long body and can slip through a hole just a little bit bigger than a pencil.

1. Check all outside pipe connections to the inside of your home.
Plug the space around the pipe with steel wool for small holes and wire mesh for larger holes.

2. Examine the seal on all doors, especially garage doors.
Replace or install new weatherstripping when needed.
