How does Sentinel Rodent Control System work?

For Below Ground Protection, our mechanical rat trap is mounted in the sewage drain of the sewer trap. The trap is robustly constructed to operate in the sewer environment. It is easy to mount from ground level. The rats cannot pass the trap but are led up into a killing chamber, where they are humanely killed using a CO2-driven piston. After killing, the rats are flushed out with the sewage. The same trap can be used for different dimensions of sewer pipes.

The use of CO2-driven piston to kill rats is far more humane and environmentally friendly than the use of poison. Furthermore, problems of resistance are avoided, which can have fatal consequences for control in a given area because the agents used to lose their effect.

Built-in Rat Rafter

Likewise, the trap also acts as a rat barrier, which means that rats cannot access the parts of the sewer system where the traps are mounted in any case. This is also the case if a malfunction should occur. The trap damper is made of fiberglass, just as the built-in lock means that the rats cannot lift them.

The trap can be mounted, operated, and dismantled from the surface without descending into the sewer and does not block the flow of wastewater.
