From fruit to meat, nothing is off the pavement ant’s menu! Foraging pavement ants will travel as far as 30 feet from their colonies in search of food; they are well-known for setting up permanent trails to and from sources of abundant food.  Often, the first sign of an infestation is a trail of ants marching through your home or another building where food is present.
