You’re Not The Only One Celebrating!
Mice and other pests don’t take breaks on holiday’s. If you need HELP with pest issues call any one of our many offices.
Quick Tip: If you know where mice are breaking in, wad up some foil and firmly jam it in the hole. We don’t know if mice don’t like the taste or feel, or if it just strikes them as too unnatural to penetrate, but some have had great success with this simple way to keep the mice at bay. However, if you have already seen some signs of a rodent infestation inside your home, you will only be keeping them in your nice warm house.
It’s Tick Season
Don’t ruin your holiday, if you’re going to be spending time in wooded areas or tall grasses, wear long pants, long-sleeved shirts and closed-toe shoes. Wearing light colored clothing will make it easier to spot ticks.
Wear a bug spray containing at least 20% DEET when outdoors, and reapply as directed on the label.
When hiking, do your best to stay in the center of trails, away from vegetation where ticks may be hiding and waiting to hitch a ride. Enjoy your 4th of July!
