If you don’t want to use one of the store bought bug repelling bracelets, try this for an alternative. With a few inexpensive items, you can make each family member their own bracelet in their personal style, and the great thing is that they are reusable!
For these, you will need some leather cording, and if you want to kick the style factor up a notch, add a charm.
- String the charm on the cording. Wrap the cording around your wrist 3 times, and gave a little extra room so it can slide on and off. Next, tie it off with a double knot.
- Added 3 drops of Citronella Essential Oils to the leather in a few different places.
Slip it on with another bracelet and the bugs should bother you. The best part is you can’t even tell it’s a mosquito fighting bracelet!
