  • It is recommended to seal all possible points of entry around the house, including small openings and cracks around doors and windows.
  • Screen vents and openings to chimneys.
  • Keep food in airtight containers and dispose of garbage regularly.
  • Keep tree limbs cut back 6 to 8 feet from the roof line. Inspect wires, insulation and walls for any signs of gnaw marks, which may indicate an infestation.
